"Well when we started using Tidwell the older gentlemen who owns or owned the place was awesome to deal with but something has happened my wife was spoke to very rudely but most of all I got a second opinion on the repairs on my truck and it was a 500 dollar difference . As well as if this doesn't fix it we will try this part and so on and so on . Just not real good customer service so I chose to get my truck towed to a different shop. Really liked the people at the front counter but business is business and 500 dollars is 500 dollars ."

"Was looking for a great garage with good mechanics after being taken advantage of by so many other shops. With six cars in the family, garage time is often and service intervals are ongoing. I really wanted to make Tidwell Auto Service my new shop. Mario, the mechanic that did my work, was absolutely great and very helpful! No complaints there. The issue was with Elizabeth at the front desk. I towed my son's truck in after doing all of the teardown on the job at hand. Transmission removal and flywheel replacement. Their shop mechanic only had to install the new flywheel that I had already purchased, reinstall transmission, drive shaft and starter to get the truck back on the road. Again, I had done the teardown. Elizabeth refused to remove the labor for teardown (which again, I did all of the work) from the invoice and fairly charge only for their mechanic's labor to rebuild. This is what was honest and fair. I was charged full price for the repair which included teardown and rebuild, after doing half the work myself. Poor choice and poor business practice on her part. I will not be back and I would advise you to be cautious should you decide to use their services."
