"Service was mediocre. When I arrived I asked the office manager or perhaps the owner if she could have the tech take a look at 2 minor things and she was rude and said no. She then went on a short rant about openbay and how they cannot do anything else but what I paid for, even though I told her I would bring my car back later and give them the business. She asked me what the 25 point inspection was, I have no idea, I told her whatever you agreed to do contractually with openbay, but I made some suggestions, check fluids, tire pressure, lights, battery, alternator, etc...none of that was done. I mentioned to her that I know my coolant level was low. I then heard her tell the tech put a little coolant in there. I left feeling that they were not interested in my business and they were going to do the bare minimum with a poor attitude. In short, you get what you pay for. "

"Service was easily scheduled, price was honored. Shop found an additional issue, but gave me no issues settling up the original service and taking the vehicle back to research the best way to solve the new issue."

"The actual service from Summit Auto Service was fine. I am happy to support small, family owned businesses. There did seem to be a big disconnect between Open Bay and the company. After booking an oil change with synthetic oil and a transmission flush for 2pm, I arrived to discover that the company was closed at 2pm for lunch. They also did not have the equipment to do a transmission flush. They changed the transmission fluid, but I’m not sure if that matched the quote I received. The mechanic seemed to have little information about the quote or any other information by open bay. I would like to stress that the service I received was fine, but I would have preferred just taking it by rather than booking through open bay. It did not seem to provide any benefit."

"I own a Subaru Forester and needed some scheduled maintenance plus a repair of my driver window. I first asked Stiver's Subaru for a quote while I already there taking care of a recall notice. I was quoted about $1500 for what I needed. Considering the largest cost was the scheduled preventative maintenance, I was completely flabbergasted. I even considered, however fleetingly, that maybe I should just sell my car because it was insane that this would cost roughly 25+% of my car's current total value. I came across Summit because it was highly recommended by my neighbors. I gave them a call, said what I needed, and Jane replied "Yeah, that's an expensive one." I cringed, but then she quoted me about $500 for the service. The window would be a mystery until they looked at it. It turned out to be a broken motor and they had to order the part, but all in, it cost me $750 dollars. Yeah, that's literally half of Stiver's. I'm not sure if Stiver's uses gold-plated unicorn-crafted parts or what, but I'm overjoyed with the service I received at Summit. Jane was always informative in telling me what was going on with my car and she managed to do so without either inflating everything to seem dire (ie. expensive) or being condescending. The after-hours dropbox for keys was incredibly convenient so I didn't have to beat morning traffic to get my car there. The receipt was itemized and in plain language to tell me exactly what was done. The shop was an easy walk from the Avondale MARTA station so I could pick it up right after work. This was the most painless experience I could have asked for. I'll definitely be a returning customer."
"Don't let their terrible phone etiquette scare you away. These folks are the bee's knees! I have never been so happy with an auto service company in my life. Btw, they don't talk like that in person. Face to face they are perfectly polite, not sure what causes the diffrence. ANYWHO...Their repairs are lightning fast, done correctly, and so cheep you would swear they are saints. They don't work weekends, which is a bummer; but hey, everyone needs time off! Just be aware that they only service asian car brands."
"I don't know these guys, but have to say popping up on Google when anyone looks for Summit Racing hasn't hurt business at all has it? I'm dying here..lolol."
"Took my saab there and they told me they couldn't figure out what the problem was. Well I did! It was a loose fuse that I found myself. Customer service was terrible. Will never go back there again."
"I've been going here for a few years. First with a 1996 Honda Accord. Now with a 2000 Toyota Camry. Marc and Jane are straight shooters who don't try to sell anything. They only advise on what you need. Sometimes I make the mistake of trying to get "cheaper" repairs elsewhere, but often find myself going to Summit Auto to get them corrected. I just setup another appointment for that very same mistake. I won't be doing that again. To date, I haven't had any recurring issues after having my car serviced here and I drive vehicles with high mileage. It's not easy to find fair and honest people these days. Summit Auto is one of the good guys!"
