Scott Schneider, founder and owner of Folsom Auto Center and Mechanics Ministries, views the business as a ministry unto the Lord, employees and customers alike. As such, we are committed to giving straightforward, honest answers to our customers and providing the highest level of accountability for all the work we do. The cross, vine and dove logo was the original logo used by Mechanics Ministries when the shop was first established in Rancho Cordova in 1979. We continue to use this same logo throughout the years because each part has special significance.

Again, Folsom Automotive took great care of the car I just bought. inspection was reasonably priced as was the necessary work performed. When the car ran into additional issues while undergoing repair I got an immediate call and they provided amazing service. They share pictures and details of all work they are going to do to the car and keep you fully informed throughout the process. We will keep coming here for the foreseeable future."

"Very helpful and professional service. The owner offered to service my vehicle, a 2014 Nissan 350Z, in the future, as he believes the car will serve me well down the line. The waiting room is clean and welcoming, including free snacks and drinks.
Lastly, my car was washed and detailed! I had no idea this would be done, so it was a welcome surprise. I had gone to Quick Quack just before I brought it in. I then parked under a heavily pollinating tree, so the car was a mess when I brought it in.

"I have brought my car in a few times and have always been happy with their service. Brought it in today for a break diagnostic. Even though my husband just replaced the brakes I was getting an odd odor and heat coming from one of my tires. They completed the diagnostic and were very honest about what was going on, shared the details with me and did not try to push any services on me. When I said my husband wanted to do the work himself they said no problem and Alex even offered to chat with him if he had questions! I almost went to another shop that was closer to my home because I thought it'd be easier but glad I thought better of it. Always very happy with my service here."
