Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care of Wheat Ridge

"Cottman Transmission is the BEST! After being repeatedly ignored for over a week by 2 Ford dealerships (1 being where I bought the car)to get the shift cables replaced in my 2016 Focus, I called Cottman. Stan was absolutely awesome! He took the time to listen and understand what was going on with my car and what I believed was wrong after my Dad had looked at it. He agreed that the shift cables (one or both) had broken and assured me that if I was to have the work done with them they would inspect it thoroughly at no additional charge to make sure that was the only issue. He quoted a reasonable price and ordered the part. My Dad dropped my car off this morning and was promptly and professionally greeted and by the time I got there to pick him up they had my car up and were busy working away on it. Stan even showed us the broken cable that they had already pulled out. They finished the work in a very timely fashion and called me to pick it up, again we were treated very professionally and politely when we arrived. The price was right on point with the estimate and Stan went over what was checked and assured me that everything was properly functioning. My car is now driving just like it had when I first bought it. I am so glad that we chose Cottman for this repair. I would highly recommend them for any service needs on any vehicle. It's refreshing to see a local business with standards not only for the work done but for how they treat people. "A few weeks ago my granddaughter was looking to purchase a Dodge Ram 1500 V8 truck. I took the truck to Cottman on ward road. He put in on the rack and check everything, I was surprised at how thorough he was. Also he check for any code errors. He stated the truck was in great shape. "Cannot praise this place enough! Stan was very polite and professional dealing with my car's issues. He ran a complementary diagnostics test and helped me figure out the root of my car's problems. Stan took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my car on a level that I could understand. (that's huge considering I don't know anything the happens under the hood!) The staff were all polite and friendly. They even gave my dog a bowl of water and offered me refreshments while I waited. The costs and procedures were explained BEFORE anything was done to my car. "My husbands car broke down on his way to work, the car wasn’t able to go forward or backwards luckily Cottman transmission was not far from were the car left him. They were able to diagnose and figure it wasn’t the transmission at all but another problem that we were aware of an just got bigger. They were totally able to handle it and got the car going in the same day. Overall I’m really happy with their honesty and the price was very fair compared to wat other mechanics quoted us.
