Proud to be a part of the Denton, Texas Community! On Tuesday morning, February 1, 2000, we opened our doors for the first time as Advanced Auto Repair. Although our staff was small, we were determined to make positive changes to 612 Fort Worth Drive, (formerly known as The Budget Bugg Shop). First on the list was to change the name and the image of an import-only Volkswagen repair shop to Advanced Auto Repair, where we take care of both imports and domestic vehicles.

Next, we made it our mission to treat our customers with integrity, honesty and in a professional manner. Whether you walk in the door, call us on the phone, or visit us at our website, we want to make sure that each and every customer feels his or her automobile issues are completely handled in a professional manner.

At Advanced Auto Repair we take pride in disproving the preconceived notion that “all repair shops are trying to rip customers off.” We have worked very hard to become known as an honest, friendly automotive repair facility. This has been done, in part, by adding the latest diagnostic equipment, email capabilities, and taking “before and after repairs” digital pictures.

This gives us the ability to fix the car right the first time, to email images of what items need to be taken care of, and then showing our customers the images of the completed repairs. We require all of our staff attend a minimum of 52 hours per year of the best in automotive training. Our professional and friendly staff members are dedicated to serving our clients with the integrity and respect they deserve.

In April of 2006, we opened our second Advanced Tire & Repair store, (formerly known as Payne Tire). While preserving the previous staff, we were able to upgrade not only the equipment for tires and wheels to meet the demands of the custom market, but also the equipment needed to service the changing technology in the tire industry. One example is Nitrogen tire inflation technology. We were the first in Denton to offer this tire-saving option to our customers. Another example is our Alignment Machine, released only this year (2009). It has the most cutting edge features in Denton. And our Wheel Balancer utilizes laser beams to measure and mark with a red dot the exact place where wheel weights are to be added. (It is not always an easy task to properly balance custom wheels while hiding the wheel weights.)

We are always looking for ways to improve our services. With the suggestions from our loyal customers, and to help meet the needs of our surrounding businesses, we have implemented a Fleet Service Program. By offering fully customized service plans, this program helps local businesses maintain their vehicles, which alleviates the frustration and strain related to multiple vehicle servicing.
