Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"My transmission starting slipping on the way home from vacation. I was able to get it back to AAMCO. I spoke with Dane and he gave me a reasonable quote for a rebuild. His crew was able to get it rebuilt in just a couple days. I had some concerns after the rebuild and he addressed each of them. Since the rebuilt I've had my u-joints and slip yoke replaced. Truck is running better than the day I bought it. Would recommend."
