Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"Just wanted to let everyone know what a great place to do business. I'll try to keep this short, but not sure I can. I had a transmission and brakes done at this place about 2-1/2 years ago. My trans had a 3 Year warranty on it. I brought in my car to have it checked out before the summer driving season when I usually drive to Canada for vacation. When Pat checked out the vehicle he noticed that the brakes were worn to less than 20% left. Pat replaced the pads at no charge (lifetime warranty), and I only had to pay for rotors (40% less than the dealer price). Here's the best part. When his techs scanned the vehicle for trouble codes, they found what they called 'pending' codes for the transmission. Since there was only 6 months left on the transmission warranty, Pat, knowing my driving habits, decided to have the transmission replaced with a brand new one at absolutely no charge. I didn't even have a symptom yet, but Pat wanted to get this done under the warranty knowing I was going to be driving 3000+ miles this summer alone, Who can ask for more than that! All I can say is...have a broken car? Go to AAMCO in Asbury Park. You won't be disappointed! Have a happy summer!"
