Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. "I forgot to leave a review right after my service, but you guys fixed my ac at the top of the summer. This location has great service. Friendly staff. I would recommend this place to anyone."
"SCAM ARTISTS!!! DO NOT GO HERE FOR CAR REPAIRS! They lied to my sister over and over about what was wrong with her car. After a few weeks of them "playing with it" and still not fixing it, she told them she would take it elsewhere. All of a sudden they know what's wrong with it and claimed they fired the incompetent mechanic and the new guy would fix it. Finally they tell her the car is ready and all fixed. Excited that after 3 weeks she will have a drivable car! We go to get it, I paid $1000 on my credit card. We leave, I get in my car and she gets in her newly "fixed" car. Few minutes later I get a text from her saying that her check enging light was on as soon as she started the car...(HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE IF THEY FIXED IT AND TOOK MY $1000?) She calls them and tells them to bring her car back the next day (which is today). She takes her car back and sees the incompetent mechanic that they claimed they fired in there WORKING! Then when she said something about it the guy at the front desk lied about it like "you didn't see him we fired him!!" Now they are trying to pretend like it's a different issue with the car unrelated to the original and trying to get more money after they already robbed me. They never fixed her car all the way but charged as if they had. WHY IS HER ENGINE LIGHT ON? IF YOU FIXED HER CAR THE LIGHT WOULDN'T HAVE CAME ON AS SOON AS SHE STARTED IT. Trust all these negative reviews those people have to be telling the truth based on my sister's experience with these crooks."
"I went here because I had a coupon for an oil change. I didn’t make an appointment and was short on time but figured I would be there for less than an hour based on the guy’s tone when he said they could do an oil change. Fast forward 2 hours and I am still sitting there. Granted, anyone I spoke with was very friendly, but I did have to ask 3 times when it would be finished (with 3 answers that were off by at least 40 minutes). I also had to wait another 15 minutes between when they finished my car and when someone actually came to the front so I could pay. If I had made an appointment maybe things would have been different but I won’t be going back there for their 2-hour oil change."
"Worst experience I've ever had with a car repair place in my life. They had my car for 3 weeks and each week there was a new diagnostic or they'd say "I think we have it figured out finally, but let us play with it a little more". Yeah, they actually used the term, "play with it". Frustrated, I had my sister drive by AAMCO and what do I see? My car sitting nice and snug in a tight parking spot. I go in and confront them about it. Their reply, "it's summertime. Too hot to be in a garage". Are you kidding me?! I'm supposed to believe that foolery?! At this point I'm fed up and tell them I'm taking my car somewhere else tomorrow since clearly they haven't a clue what they're doing and they aren't even working on it anymore. The next day before I have a chance to get it towed out I get a call from AAMCO. Miraculously, they not only know what's wrong with the car now, but they also claim to have fired the incompetent mechanic who couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car and who admittedly gave up on it (the REAL reason my car was sitting outside). They claim to have hired an expert who knows exactly how to fix my car. I should have run when I had the chance. I let this guy "fix it" at a "discounted" price of $1000. When they tell me I can pick it up, I discover the check engine light is STILL ON. I tell them right away, and they say to bring it back in the morning and that it's probably fine. I do so, but even before they check it, Daniel says, "I wonder if this check engine light is a NEW issue..." And right away when he said that I knew what they would try to do: claim my check engine light that never even went off the first time was a different issue entirely. I was right. They did just that and actually expected me to give them more money. To further add insult to injury, the guy they so called "fired" was still there working on cars smh. Not only am I out of $1000 but my car is still not fixed..it barely starts! May this be a lesson to anyone reading this...if your gut tells you something isn't right about a place, trust it the first time. Now I have to report this place to the BBB and possibly hand out flyers warning people about AAMCO. Please steer clear of AAMCO or you'll wish you had!!!!"
"They were able to repair my car and reasonably. The crew was very informed and knew exactly what the car needed"
