Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"I was told from another business that I needed my transmission looked at and probably needed it replaced. AAMCO was very professional and after not initially finding anything wrong they wanted to get another opinion from another technician that would be in the next day. It was determined that I didn’t need a new transmission but later on down the road I probably would. I appreciated the honesty because they could have easily told me that I needed a new transmission. When I do I will be going back to have them do the work because they were honest and now I can trust them. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks."
