"Take my word for it when I say DO NOT bring your vehicle to this place. I am not a regular when it comes to leaving reviews. In fact, this is my first time ever to leave a review on a business. But, I felt obligated to try and save someone a major mistake by doing business with this place. Z best tire is a prime example as to why you can’t take a mans word at face value these days. First off I dropped my truck off here the night before and called them the next morning when they opened to tell them what I thought might possibly be the issue and to tell them once they have pin pointed the problem to give me a call to go from there. Well they didn’t bother to do that. The problem was it was simply out of fuel. Yes 5$ in gasoline would have saved me 250$ from doing business with this place. The fuel pump was changed the week preceding on the truck by another mechanic. The pump was no good and came from O Reilly’s. That led to my fuel gauge not working properly on my dash and that in turn led to it running out of fuel. This crossed my mind as a potential problem, but I didn’t try putting fuel in it & decided to have a mechanic look at it anyways. At around 3 o clock I pick up my truck to learn that they had changed out my battery and done an electrical test on it for the small sum of 250$. This is where I got screwed because the battery I had in there was under warranty at autozone and could be swapped out for another one for free. I suspect that they either swapped it out at autozone and then charged me for a battery or they put in another one of their own batteries and kept mine that they could later take to be swapped out. Then the root of the problem was my fuel pump being defective was not fixed. So when you sum it all up basically they couple gallons of fuel they put in the truck and the 20 minutes of labor it took to swap batteries and to do an electrical test ran me 250 dollars with a battery that I now have in my truck that’s not covered by a warranty and the main problem being my fuel gauge is still not working. Please do yourself the favor and find a place that’s not out to take your money. Even it means driving to Baton Rouge I promise you it’s worth the drive if Z best tire is your only option. Shady businesses like this don’t last long and it’s easy to see why. I have over 30 family members that live in the plaquemine area that I will make sure they use another business even if I have to pay for it. One family member in particular runs a business with over 20 trucks in the area and thankfully I talked to him because he had been discussing moving his business to another place to service all his trucks and change the tires out etc...I explained to him my experience here and they were crossed off the list of a potential place to do business with in the future."

"They were so welcoming and professional. I had a problem with what I thought was a couple stripped lugnuts. Turns out it was four. They took care of it so quickly. I was impressed and will definitely return for more auto services."

"Had a shaking under car so took and dropped off during my lunch break... Got a call back saying it was cv joints, tie rods, upper arm control...$650 to replace only cv joints.. Parts $160 total... So I end up taking to a family friend mechanic... Diagnose the real problem which was passenger side motor mount and cv joints...throw in a serpentine belt and still all fixed for way under there ridiculous $650 price they decided to throw out there... Only reviewing this place to maybe help someone avoid being ripped off. 0 stars"
