"Great customer service!! They were very helpful. They let me know a few ways to help maintain the life of my car better. Thank you I really appreciate all the advice and the education, you learn something new everyday 😁 I will be seeing you guys next time I need any work done or have any other questions!"
"I had a terrible experience there today. It started with them being unable to proceed until I provided the exact model and body style of a GMC Sierra. If you know anything about vehicles or work in the mechanics trade you should know that if the customer isn't particular then all you need is the truck make and engine size to determine the oil capacity. Or if you run a shop that changes oil as a primary business you don't harass your customer demanding that they get their registration to provide you the exact specific details of the truck...you just change the oil. Then they demanded my personal information, address and phone number. I do not give out my personal information without cause, I value my privacy. The manager insisted that he could not proceed until I gave him my personal details. I refused and was informed that they couldn't do the work unless I gave up my personal details. I paid with a groupon which they redeemed but I received no services for my payment. I will NEVER visit any Tune Up Plus again and will share my experience as far and wide as I can. EDIT: You do not need my personal information to conduct a transaction with me. Demanding this of your customers is an invasion of privacy. It is not legal for you to deny services to anyone just on the grounds that they do not want to share their personal information."
"I called before I came to confirm that they had open availability, keeping in mind that it could change by the time I got there. When I arrived, everything was as as they said, and they informed me that I could be taken care of in twenty minutes or so. I let them know that I had an appointment at 4 and so I would be back in a half hour to pay and pick up my keys. I came back in 40 minutes and my car had not been moved and I asked about it, they said a tech went to lunch. They said they thought I could go to my appointment and come back afterwards, and I told them that wasn’t possible, as I was going from my appointment to DC which is why I went there in the first place. I understand that things happen, but they could have called me, and been upfront rather than wasting my time and expecting me to come back."
"The staff is friendly and that's all I can say. We went in for a VA State Inspection sticker and needed a 3rd brake light, a tie-down rod with J hook and a license plate light. We were told it would be $90 and that was in fact half price from the usual price of $180. Tie-down $1.68 at Wal-Mart; LP bulbs $5.79.; Brake light $5.97 (only needed one) and took less than an hour for me, a female, to do. It is a shame they see women and jack up the price because they think we're ignorant of mechanical things. My father was a jet engine mechanic for the USAF and later a machinist at NN Shipyard. He rebuilt car engines for fun and I helped. Guess you shouldn't assume. You saw a woman in a Lexus and thought you could charge $90 for less than $15 in parts and not even an hour of labor. Shame on you! Guess next year will go elsewhere for our sticker!"
"Paid for new spark plugs and engine coils. Not even a month later my check engine light is flashing saying two of the three engine coils they have replaced are misfiring. I paid alot of money to them for the tune up, which I think was way over priced and it wasn't done properly. Now I have to pay for my car to be towed back to the shop for them to fix their work. I will never come back."
