"Went in for the annual state inspection since I am new to the Woodlands (lived inside the loop before) and got a coupon in the mail advertising they were new to the area. Since they were close , went in for the car inspection. Was told my brakes were bad and that they could replace them and my slightly worn wiper blades for ~$600. Brakes going bad are a serious safety issue, but I’ve also been in a car where you can feel the brakes going bad, that is not my car. I paid for the state inspection, replaced the wipers (took 5 minutes from the blades I got from Amazon) and got my car inspected by the one I used to go to inside the loop. Passed no issues and I asked them about the brakes. He mentioned they are worn (car is 4 years old so that’s expected), but assuming I’m not a harsh acceleration-and-brake driver, I’ve got at least a couple of more years with them. Won’t be going back to this place nor would I recommend it to others. Too bad, because they were so close to the woodlands and a new business!"
