"One star is too many.
I booked a noon appointment for a state inspection. I checked in at quarter to 12:00 for an hour’s worth of work. Returned at 1:20 pm to find my car was not touched. When I asked why, Sam proceeded to bark at me that he only had one tech and he had to eat lunch. Sam is in the wrong line of work, he is rude and grumpy. I understand people have to eat and complications arise but I got a very rude response to a simple question and an easy phone call explaining the situation would have gone a long way. If they can not handle the task of appointment booking then I can not fathom how they would manage servicing a vehicle. I said nothing, I just took my keys and left.
Take your business to the Pep Boys in North Huntingdon at your own peril."

"Called a week prior to set up an appointment to get an alignment on my vehicle. A few months prior I purchased the lifetime alignment package. The man (Sam) who was checking me in had an awful attitude to begin with, then informed me that because I needed to replace my tie rod (reason I needed an alignment) and that because I did the work myself, that the warranty was voided for the lifetime alignment. I just did the same work for the other side and got an alignment 2 weeks prior, and there were no issues. I asked him why it was an issue now, but not before, and he said that he couldn’t explain that to me. Awful customer service, I highly recommend that you go to the pep boys in Greensburg instead. I called them after I left and they got me in the same day with no issues."
