Additionally, my appointment was for 11 am and I was there 3 and one-half hours (2:30 pm). This long wait included an additional hour after a got an email at 1:35 pm that said my service was complete and my car was read for pickup. I won’t use this facility ever again."

"Took my beamer in due to low brake fluid. The mechanic checked out the entire car. I already knew I needed struts but he gave me the whole lowdown. Heartbreaking bill but I know its it's a big job. Long story short the car rides like a dream. Such a soft quiet ride now. And they managed to pull it off in the midst of a freaking riot. Props."

"Yesterday I dropped my car off for an oil change at Pep Boys at 5959 S. Western Chicago, IL. I picked it up a few hours later and there were small scratches on the bumper that peeled off the paint. I talked to the store manager (Charles) about it and he acted in a very nonchalant manner and said he would check the cameras when he has time. I told him I would wait to view the footage with him, to which he responded that he was “too busy right now” and would try to view it by the morning of the next day and call me by 10am(which is today). My gut told me he was not telling the truth, and something was off. Anyway, I payed for the oil change,went home, and called corporate office shortly after to file a complaint. They said they will reach back out to me within 48 BUSINESS hours . That is entirely too long. This morning I called Pepboys to talk to Charles. I I was told, “Charles is off today”. So he knowingly lied to me. He definitely knew what he was doing. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!"
"Though I was disappointed going in, Charles was very courteous, kind and professional. He's the only reason I changed my rating. (12 noon appointment only to be told it would be a 2 1/2 hour wait and the young lady that works at the desk is unprofessional and lacks customer service)."
"Had an appointment. Checked right in and the oil was changed in about 40 min. Used a 30% off offer and was on my way. Later I went to fill up my washer fluid and discovered it was all the way full. Pepboys did it!"
