"Originally, things started out well. I was asked how did I come up with my repair list. Told him my wife got a courtesy check with specific recommendations. Appointment stated approx 5 hours and vehicle was finished within the time frame. I went to pick her up and was not told nor did I read about any issues. However, by the time I reached 450, she was shaking and felt as if I was driving a manual about to kill. I decided to keep driving home hoping that the new fluids just needed to run their course. By the time I got home, they were closed and I used the app to send a message. Pete called me twice the next day. Just bring it back or have it towed, if not safe to drive or if I wasn't comfortable. I told him I wanted to drive it more to see if it would work itself out and if not, I would bring it in on Sat. Well, the shakes didn't stop. Actually it got worse, as the remote start no longer works. So we, got up early Sat morning and dropped her off at or about btwn 0930 and 1000. Unfortunately Pete wasn't there so we explained the situation to Karen? (unsure of name). Apparently, since I dropped it off, it wasn't a high priority, as my wife had to call to get an update at or about 1500. I FINALLY rec'd a call at 1533 to inform me that my vehicle was ready to be picked up and that they close at 4! Why would you take so long to get her repaired considering she was dropped of before 1000. We were told that faulty or frayed wires were discovered during the initial repair, however they were not re-connected. More importantly, they were not annotated or discussed with me when I picked her up. Fortunately, whatever the issue was, it was FINALLY repaired. Since the shaking started before I got to 450, I am surprised that the tech didn't notice it. I am surprised that an apparent issue wasn't brought to my attention when I picked up the vehicle. I am surprised it took so long, if the issue was diagnosed properly (w/o documentation) initially. This is a one and done deal. I won't be returning for any additional work on any of my vehicles."
"This place was great, they were able to fix the broken portion of my exhaust system instead of replacing the entire expensive system. I'm very happy . They have a nice waiting room, magazines, and a clean bathroom, it was only a short wait but in comfort. The only tricky thing about this place was finding it, it's behind the Shoppers grocery store."
"It didn't seem like the folks at this shop had an intimate knowledge of diagnosing vehicles. I went there to get my check engine light read and they gave me a list of suggested repairs. The price was higher than I could afford, so I tried asking questions about what services/repairs could be removed. The person I was speaking with became defensive to the point that she said that I could not forgo a certain repair (which happened to involve the most expensive parts on the list). I didn't like her attitude and didn't trust her with my money, so I paid for the diagnosis that was already done and left. After looking online at the repairs they wanted to do, it became clear that they were simply going to replace every component that was related to the error codes they read from my engine. This repair philosophy probably has a high success rate, but it is excessively expensive, potentially wasteful of good parts, and indicates a potential lack of knowledge or lack of motivation to do in-depth diagnosis. To give them the benefit of the doubt, it also seemed like a very busy day at the shop, and an in-depth diagnosis would take time that may have been more profitably used servicing other vehicles. I also have no reason to doubt their mechanical ability to carry out repairs without damaging other components. I just compared their listed parts costs and they are notably higher than purchasing from an autoparts store."
"I would not wish this place on my worst enemy.I called prior to coming, explained my situation and the kind and professional gentleman on the phone (Chris) instructed me to bring my car in for a free diagnostic.I drove there.Upon my arrival, I spoke with Chris. He assured me the technicians would look at my car, assess the situation and call me once the assessment of my vehicle was completed.A rude, inconsiderate woman (also an employee) interrupted the conversation between he and I and said they could not do a free diagnostic. Chris explained to her that he infact instructed me to bring the car in (for a free diagnostic) on the phone earlier that morning. I asked that she honor what was previously told to me since I made the trip there, however she refused. There is much more to this story that I've included in my letter...but the overarching point is that if you are reading this I beg of you NOT to go to this location. I recommend that you go to the College Park location. I called their location after leaving the New Carrollton location and they offered an apology and asked that I bring the car in to them.I thought it was extremely classy of them to offer an apology that I should have received from the other location. The woman I spoke with claimed to be a manager. I found that hard to believe; sad when management doesn't have a good understanding of customer service. If you truly value good customer service.....wrong place! Please go elsewhere."
"I had made appointment to install a tire on my car. I arrived 15 minutes early but it took them over an hour to install my tire on thecar. After getting home I noticed that they did not put the cap back on air valve, but they also forgot to put the center cap with the Chevy logo back on the rims. I will never go there again to get my tires replaced. They also filled the tire to 47 psi, when 33 is the recommended psi."
"Never again. I came in at 4:15 saying that I needed my rear break pads changed out in order to pass my state car inspection. I made that very clear that’s ALL I needed. I waited till 5:45 and was presented with an estimate of 889.00!! Was told that they can’t change my breaks with out changing my rotors. And had a bunch of other things they say needed to be fixed. Why didn’t they just change out my pads like I asked. Now they don’t get any of my money! Wasted my time!"
