"Spoke to an employee named matt/matty. I had recently aquired a very old car that is 28 years old and needed some custom exhaust work. Specifically a muffler. He did not want to put the car on the lift because it had no catalyst converter when asked if the car had one. It is "illegal to work on a car without one". For off road purposes this car dont need one. There is also no emission requirements for any vehicle over 25 years old. He wanted me to spend a great amount of money, just to push me out the door because he didnt want to work. This guy was not motivated nor very friendly. Why would I make a 28 year old car meet todays emissions standards if todays law doesn't even require it. So much for "custom" exhaust work."
