"My first visit with Lex Brodie’s for routine car servicing and safety check was top notch and I gave them an excellent review then. However my next visit makes me wonder about their integrity. It was an expensive repair . . . Being a female, single senior citizen I should have been more questioning of the charge but due to my previous experience I was very trusting. It was a $1600.00 repair job which I accepted, however I should have asked for an explanation by the mechanic doing my work. I have an 18 year old car and now in hind sight wonder how necessary all the work was. I only spoke with the female intake person who was very nice but I don’t know if she could have counseled me. Upon looking at the invoice when I got home, I discovered that I was charged $250 for a lifetime warranty for the work! I was never asked if I wanted this added charge! I went back to have this charge refunded. . . It’s an 18 year old car for goodness sake! So I now wonder how much of the work done was truly necessary on an 18year old car that I had plans to replace in a year?"

"I called at 1:50p for opening to get my tire fixed. At 2:30p, my tire was done and ready. I recommend going there on a Sunday."

"I have been coming to Lex Brodie's for a number of reasons for my family's cars and have spent a lot of money there over the years. I purchased the Fixed Forever Brakes a year or two ago on one of our cars. I brought it in today and told them the brakes were whistling. They said, no problem and after inspecting my car, they replaced the rotor and brake pads without any other questions. They made it easy and stood behind their guarantee. What a great place. The staff are always very helpful."

"The later you get there, the longer you seem to wait. Most workers there seem to be friendly, with some a lot more pleasant than others. The customer lounge is comfortable and roomy enough, with ample seating, coffee, tv and free WiFi. Plus, it's air conditioned! There are wheelchair accessible bathrooms and a couple of vending machines. Despite those things, I was pretty annoyed to have to go back when our tire leaked less than 12 hours after they supposedly checked it and said there was nothing wrong with it. Yes, we had an appointment."
