"If I could give 0 stars I would. Have been here twice. The same lady behind the counter has given me attitude both times and was rude. Bobby Keporr, the Owner, called to question on my survey and when I told him what happened he told me I can feel how I want but that that is how they are trained. After telling him I worked in customer service he said “well then I’ll give you $100 in gas if you come teach a training”. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ll take you on your offer bud. Have my money ready and I’ll see you soon."

"PLEASE READ THIS if you intend on going here to service or inspect your vehicle. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE. Literally anywhere else would be better in my opinion. The Service Manager’s name is Sanjeev “Bobby” Kapoor and not only is he completely rude, but he is dishonest and greedy. He has removed and re-added his company “Lake Anne Service Center” from Google before so no one can see the bad reviews. The “Reston Mobil” Google page has some more reviews on him. I’m willing to bet money that those who gave him good reviews are family and friends of his. Read the reviews carefully! I am posting this review on both pages. There used to be a DIFFERENT OWNER of this service station (I believe his name was Shawn). It is not him in charge anymore! I just moved from out of state and bought a used vehicle from a friend in Maryland. I took it to Bobby’s Lake Anne Service Center shop for a simple inspection. He literally told me “I wish I had friends like you so I could rip them off”. He told me that my vehicle needed about $2500 worth of work on it before it could pass inspection. He said VERBATIM, “You should sleep with your friend’s girlfriend and that would be payback for him selling you this piece of junk.” He gave me a sob story about how honest he is and how he hates seeing people like me who don’t know anything about cars getting ripped off and mechanics “getting rich” from repairs. SO condescending. Then he gave me a pitch for a company that I should buy a new car from (which tells me he probably has an iron in that fire somewhere). The gentlemen customer in line ahead of me was also given a failed inspection for brake lines which he says he had JUST REPLACED two weeks before. This gentleman had been waiting for an hour to get inspected and was told to sit down on a stool in the back of the repair shop and "count the fish" in the filthy fish tank. The actual damage of my vehicle when I took it for a second opinion in Ashburn? A slightly cracked motor mount and a 8 inch piece of my exhaust. Will cost me about $300 for parts and labor. Bobby is a LIAR and a FRAUD. I would have been donating $2000 to his pocket if I’d done it his way. He even failed my inspection for “too much dust” on my headlight. Are you serious?? This is a safety inspection, not a car wash. Fun fact, not that it matters, but his diesel operation that he ran out of the Mobil was just condemned by the state of Virginia for repairs because he was not complying with the requirements of Virginia weights and measures Law. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services put stickers all over his pumps that he is not legally allowed to remove. In addition, he ALSO runs a uhaul business on the side and did not used to have “we tow” signs in his lot. He almost started a fist fight with my roommate in April for parking his vehicle in the lot for two hours (while we were renting a Uhaul to move furniture in town). He knew we were coming back and gave us approval to park there until we left, and then he called a tow truck. My roommate informed him that “no tow” is not enforceable to customers during business hours unless there were signs. Bobby got unnecessarily angry and started shouting six inches from my friend’s face. I’m amazing this man is in business. I'm even more amazed that no one has punched him in the face for being so unprofessional and rude. Two weeks later there were towing signs put up, so I guess we taught him something...? I would suggest staying away from Sanjeev “Bobby” Kapoor and all his businesses, especially the Lake Anne Service Center, which is a complete scam, in my experience. I live in an apartment right by his shop which is a shame because if he was a decent person, he would have had all my business by default. Joke is on him. TLDR: This guy shouldn't be in business."
