"It appears to me that the service provider is unable to properly read a problem description before submitting a bid. Openbay even called me and I described in detail what I needed to get done and what I did not need to get done. I dropped the vehicle off at 8am, the service was supposed to be completed the same day at noon. At around 2pm I received a call from the service provider asking me which part I needed to replace. I explained to them that either parts they wanted to replace had already been replaced and those pats were not the problem, but rather the connection between the two parts. About 30 min later I got another call form them, telling me that the technician most skilled in that kind of work wouldn't be back until Monday and that I could leave the vehicle until Monday. When I called the shop Monday afternoon to see what was going on I heard on their voicemail that they were closed on Monday's. Not something the technician told me. On Tuesday I was told that they hadn't had a chance to work on my car. Finally, on Wednesday they told me that they needed to do a test drive and that they would charge $100 just to diagnose the problem. A test drive was absolutely not necessary to diagnose the problem. If they would have read the problem description in the first place they would have known what they were getting themselves into. It seems to me like the person who bids for these jobs doesn't really read the problem description or assumes that people are stupid and don't know the problem they are describing. Furthermore, I had the impression that the people at the shop didn't know what the problem with my car was, but rather that I was just an Openbay customer. I don't know if the service provider thought I was stupid or what, but to pay them $100 to diagnose a problem, which was already diagnosed was absolutely ridiculous. I decided to pick up the car without having anything done. Thanks, but no thanks. "
"Great service, friendly and knowledgeable people. Back again for more service work. This time I brought my Motorhome in for A/C service. It needed a new A/C hose which isn’t available any longer. They had It sent out and had a new one made. The next day they completed the A/C service and I drove away with Ice Cold Air!! Thanks again for another job well done!! I highly Recommend Kinney’s!!"

Tim takes the time to patiently explain what needs to be done and why, in understandable terms, to someone like myself who has no clue about cars! His tone is calm and reassuring. They performed a courtesy check which indicated I needed a new battery. I really appreciated the heads-up, especially with Summer fast approaching, so I could prevent getting stuck somewhere with a dead battery.
