"***BEWARE*** My wife took her new Nissan Rouge to this Jiffy Lube location trusting they would perform an oil change. They performed an oil change and also tried to sell my wife an air filter (The typical Jiffy Lube sales process). When she turned down the air filter, her original filter was put back in her car, unknowing to my wife, the filter was put in backwards. After months of driving her car breaks down on the side of the road, and the check engine light comes on. As a brand new car under full warranty we have the car towed to the Nissan dealership. Nissan discovers the mass air flow sensor is fried and that Jiffy Lube put the air filter in backwards. This resulted in several hundreds of dollars worth of repairs. This Jiffy Lube location refuses to reimburse us for the repairs because we didn't bring the car to them first, as if we should have known that Jiffy Lube put the air filter in backwards and that's why the check engine light was on.
In short, DO NOT trust this location with your car. You might end up with costly repairs and a management team that will search high and low in the fine print to find a way to not own up to their mistakes. What a terrible experience.
You've been warned, do not go to this place.
As someone that always takes my cars to the dealer for service, my wife will now follow this best practice as well.
I currently have a case open with Jiffy Lube Corporate, if anything changes, I'll be sure to update everyone here to make sure I'm accurately documenting Jiffy Lubes full response to the problem."
