About Import Auto Maintenance
It all started 37 years ago when Nelson Trabue realized that while driving sports cars was one thing, finding a garage that could properly and affordably maintain and repair them was another. In 1975, Nelson began IAM in downtown Nashville, assisted by the well-respected import auto technician Dwight Cole. From the beginning, Nelson was committed to providing his customers with a completely repaired car, and standing behind his work with the strongest guarantee on repair that they would find anywhere.
Earning your loyalty takes more than selling parts and labor. It takes a special caring that comes from understanding the customer's point of view. We want every customer to return time and time again for all their automotive needs and to be so satisfied with Import Auto Maintenance that they refer their family and friends.
When you visit our shop we have two main responsibilities to you and your car. First, we need to perform the service you requested competently and quickly. Secondly, we need to advise you on the proper preventive maintenance required to keep your car running smoothly, avoiding future problems and major repairs.
