"I live in PA and was picking my son up from school. My tire sensor came on so I went to a local gas station to get some air, figuring it came on due to the cold weather. I found that I had a screw in my tire and could hear the air escaping. I called a few garages and no one could fix it until tomorrow. I pulled into this garage at 4pm on a Friday, as a last resort. I am so glad that I did! They took my car right in and had it patched in 20 minutes. They could not have been more friendly or professional! I completely understand why they have been in business for 80 years!"

"Hollenshade's is excellent ! Very honest establishment ! My vehicle had symptoms of a low battery. I went into one of the local area auto parts stores, and one of the associates used a meter to test my battery. I didn't feel he was knowledgeable about what he was doing. He said I had a bad alternator. Seeing the way he used that meter, I was not confident. I then remembered Hollenshade's, during a Turkey Bowl advertisement. I called them, and they asked if I could get the vehicle up there. I said it was difficult start, but yes, I can. One of their mechanics applied a meter to my battery, as well as reading the error code, and verified it was just a low battery, and the alternator was just fine. He then explained that low voltage on a newer vehicle could very well demonstrate symptoms of a bad alternator (malfunctioning electrical components). I explained to the gentleman at the desk that I'm currently on the road, and that I have to save whatever money I can, so I'm going to have to do this repair myself, since it's just a battery. In our current Covid climate, he fully understood. For a more complicated repair, Would I go back to Hollenshades ? ABSOLUTELY !!! Their honesty not only turned me into a future customer, but the people I'm currently around, from being on the road, have all been informed of Hollenshade's honesty. Approximately 30 people. "I came here for the first time after reading multiple reviews and let me start off by saying the 5 star reviews are 100% accurate. Great service before even pulling into the lot! Mr. Tom, Mr. Dave and Mr. John were as professional as they come. Not many HONEST shops like this exist anymore. Everybody seemed to interact as a family which always makes that much better! Exhaust Manifold and Catalytic Converter repair/replacement on my 2014 Ford Flex was successful. I was kept in the loop while my vehicle was in their hands. No run around here, straight shooters.
