About Goodyear Tire & Auto Service - Hurst


Results Associates exists to provide our customers tires and automotive services which are of unexcelled quality. Results Associates exists to provide our customers “trustworthy” services which are based in integrity and competence. Results Associates exists to provide its employees and owners an adequate return on investment of time and other resources. Tire & Auto Service was founded in 1990 as an information service company. The vision for the company at that time was to provide large consumer package goods customers with sales information and leadership training. After two years of exhaustive traveling and a desire to test the leadership theories in a smaller venue a new opportunity was explored. In the fall of 1993, Results Associates acquired a Goodyear Store in Denton Texas. This acquisition changed the direction of the company, but not the vision. The founder kept the consultative approach to dealing with customers and brought a leadership philosophy of customers and employees first to the automotive service business. These foundational truths are what drive our business today.

By mid 1995, a second location was acquired and the businesses was off and running. In 1996, two more locations had joined the organization and a growth strategy was developed: “Acquire existing underperforming Goodyear locations and turn them around to be viable businesses”. Since 1993, we have grown, but our desire to be the preeminent Goodyear dealer in the Dallas/Ft Worth area has remained. We envision accomplishing this by recruiting and assembling one of the strongest management teams in the automotive service industry. This leadership team will deliver the organizations vision to both the customers and our team members. We at Results Associate are proud of our heritage and are looking forward to the bright future we see in the automotive service industry.

We focus on brake repair, tires and tire services, air conditioning maintenance and repair, and preventative maintenance on automobiles. We concentrate on providing these products and services with competence and integrity.

"I’ve been here before and their customer service has always been great I’ve easily spent more than 1200 dollars on multiple occasions. About 3 months ago I took my car for an oil change. Changed my filter did what ever they recommended. Drove my car normally for the last 3 months and two weeks ago I started hearing a noise from my car. Took it back because I trusted them and they told me I needed a whole new transmission and it would cost any where from 2-3k dollars!!!! My car only has 70k miles on it. It is not transmission time. I was upset and said I understand and I call them to bring it back soon. Took it for a second opinion. My transmission is fine!!!! Come to find out they never did an oil change 3 months ago. The new mechanic said my oil looked black and like it hadn’t been changed in almost 10k miles!! Had two mechanics check for leaks or any other source of the noise. Nothing. It just needed an oil change and they already charged me once and would’ve tried to charge me 3k probably for a transmission they didn’t even put in. Crooks!! I have been spending so much money here and being a loyal customer and I’m appalled and offended and would never come back here again."
"I needed a flat tire service call to my house. They couldn’t come when I called late in the afternoon, so I scheduled for the next morning. They came and got my tire, fixed it at the shop, and put it back on my car. The price for the service call and tire repair was about $40, which was well worth it to me. Their technician Levi was very polite, professional, and took care of business. I plan on using them again if the need ever arises."

"I went in to this establishment to get my car trip ready for my son that was travelling to Denver. I went ahead and got the oil changed even though the car didn't need it. As my son was driving up the mountains in Denver, the car made a terrible noise and stopped running. The engine seized up. After getting the car towed 100 miles to the nearest Goodyear. After taking to the shop, I asked them what had happened. They informed me that no oil was leaking from the plug and no oil was leaking from the oil filter. I asked them to drain the oil from the vehicle to see how much oil was in my vehicle. Upon draining the oil it was discovered that there was only 1.5 quarts of oil in the vehicle. The mechanic at the Goodyear in Denver said that he could not really explain where the oil went, but he also stated that he believed that there was a good chance that the Goodyear in Hurst did not put the proper amount of oil in my vehicle. I called Goodyear in Hurst and was blown off by the management specifically Paul O'Banon and shipped off to an insurance adjuster that they pay to cover the cost of damages to cars. After the insurance adjuster delayed a week in looking at my car while my son was stranded out in Denver because there were no cars available for rental because it was Christmas he told me that they could not say for sure that they could state that Goodyear did not put the oil in the car so they would not pay for the damages that they caused. The mechanic at the shop told me that they adjuster that they sent out to look at the vehicle had no idea what he was doing and he had to show him the parts of the car where there could potentially could have been issues. So before you take your car to them make sure that you ask yourself do I want to take a chance. Do I want to roll the dice and have an incompetent mechanic not potentially put oil in my car. After all was said and done they could not claim what caused the fact that there was no oil in my car. But they could claim that they could not pin point it them not putting oil in my car so they decided not to pay. I am taking them to court and highly recommend that whenever you think of taking your car to a shop that you think twice before taking it here."
