Daddio's Garage, LLC

Daddio's Garage is a family buiness owned by Tony Moretto, his wife, Anna Renee and their daughters. The name is very special and comes from their youngest daughter's name for Tony, DADDIO! As we are very family oriented, running our business with the idea that our customers are "part of the family" helps us create the type of relationships we want: lifelong, happy customers! We may be a newer business in Northbrook, but Tony has been a mechanic for over 25 years. He began fixing things with the US Navy as a boiler technician on several Adams class Destroyers such the USS Buchanan and the USS Robinson. Tony returned to IL and Great Lakes Naval Base as an Instructor and eventually became a Naval Reservist as a Construction Mechanic in the Construction Batallion, commonly known as the SeaBees, until his formal retirement in 2004.
Daddio began working as an automotive repair technician in 1986 in Northbrook where he remained until 2010. During that time he worked with Joe Niemann, of Niemann Shell; owned his own repair shop; and worked at J.E.R.R.S. where he expanded his knowledge of heavy duty truck and construction equipment maintenance and repair. Done with 2009 and looking for a fresh start to 2010, we decided to launch our own automotive repair shop and with the onset of Summer, 2011 we found ourselves growing and moving to Northbrook! It's a good feeling knowing our customers trust us to care for their cars and constantly refer business to us! Our shop is conveniently located at 430 Dundee Rd, at the Skokie Blvd. intersection; located near Starbucks, Trader Joe's, The Container Store and more.
