"Cottman Transmissions rebuilt the C4 transmission in my 1968 Mustang and did an excellent job. Ron was completely upfront about what he felt needed to be done and called me to explain any extra things he found. He even took me in the back to show me the broken parts of my transmission and what he was going to do to fix it. Although not inexpensive he is not unreasonable especially for the amount of work and attention to detail I have noticed. He is now working on my 66 Chevy C10 to replace the rear main seal and a transmission overhaul. And again took me and back and showed me exactly the damage that has been done by the previous owner, after that I will bring him my 1969 Mustang."

"Had my car towed to Cottman for some major transmission issues. I was given an estimate when it was brought in. Two days later I was told they found issues with the transmission and the motor mounts. I was told to fix the issues with the transmission and motor mounts the bill would be much higher than estimated. However the owner seemed to know what he was doing and we allowed him to make us repairs. When the car was done ( only took a week) he stayed late for us to come pick it up. He was as nice as he could be. The experience was pleasant and fairly easy. I will be taking my car back to his shop this week though because the transmission is starting to have the same issues it was when the transmission went out. I am hoping the shop owner will be as wonderful to work with coming in with warranty work to be done."

"I've had bad dealings with the majority of repair shops that I had previously in Jacksonville, and naturally I went to Cottman with my guard up. My 03 Explorer's transmission had started giving me problems, so I took it to Cottman after researching transmission repairs in Jacksonville. I purchased my explorer used about four years ago, and decided to buy an extended warranty, due to my bad luck with vehicles. I use this vehicle in my small business, and could afford to be without it for long. This entire process was painless. The owner Ron has won my complete confidence. I found him to be a man of his word, which is very important to an old school guy like me with old school values. I dropped the car off Monday at about 11:00, and got a call two days later on Wednesday stating my car was ready. He dealt with the insurance company and worked in my favor by getting me the best possible solution with the repair. I believe the option were, a used transmission or an over haul of the existing one. This process was seamless, and I never had to deal with the insurance company or its agents. The best part of it all was the fact that I got my car back in two days, only had to pay my $100 deductible not a penny more, and I'm able to get right back to business. I would recommend that anyone at least give this place a shot, so that they have a chance to earn your business as they did mine."

"What can I say about Cottman Transmission and Ron Vinduska the owner? I was in the automotive business for 17 years and Ron and his staff are awesome! I got the right price, right service done the first time and a ride home when I needed it. I would have to say the Ron goes above and beyond to make his customers feel like they did the right thing by coming to his shop. For any of you Mustang fans Ron has been racing them for years and knows the car very well. What would have cost me $1500.00 for a new clutch and throw out bearings down the street Ron did for under a $1000.00.
