"Rick, the owner, is an honest businessman. He sent us to Toyota when he knew he didn’t have the machinery to fix my car. He knew we needed a module but not a new transmission. When the Totota dealership told us that they would need to replace the whole transmission we called their bluff and told them it just needed a new module. They wanted $4300 for a new transmission. Thanks to Rick we only spent $1450. He was right! Now it runs like new. Rick saved us nearly $3000!!! For that we are forever grateful."

"I was recommended to this location by a local Firestone Complete Auto Shop; and they were 100% spot on about going to this place rather than anywhere else (like that other famous transmission center). I can't be anymore than 100% satisfied for the service that was completed to my Honda vehicle here. Even if it consisted of a basic transmission flush and filter change, the cost and labor was not an outrageous price (compared to the Honda Dealership). They had the correct type of fluid on hand that is specifically needed on all Honda type vehicles, and they wasted not time on having my vehicle in and out of the shop before midday. Fast, friendly, convenient, knowledgeable, and professional are the words I'd like to use to describe this team and their shop. They waste no time to tell you strait out on whats to be fixed on your vehicle, and how much less it is with them compared to competition around the area. Plus, they also go above and beyond the call of command by checking your vehicles computer diagnostic and presenting you with a list of codes or error issues (If any) that you might have on your vehicle. They give you their recommendations and you make the choice. Cottman is the way to go when it comes to Transmission repairs and anything else their shop offer..............I guarantee you will be 200% satisfied!!"

"Trust is extremely valuable! For me having a relationship with a mechanic you trust is extremely valuable. Rick and his crew from Cottman in Brandon are the one. You will be treated like family from the time you call until your car is finished. Every single time I have had a positive experience. When my car was under warranty I would take it to the dealer who would provide me with a laundry list of things they "recommended." I would then take my car to Rick and that list would be 20% of what I really need, the rest would give me more time to make a more informed decision. Of course he was always able to beat the price of the dealer. With my my car out of warranty, I was looking for a independent shop not a big corp or franchises. Rick destroys the stereotype of the shady mechanic and big corp shops. I wonder 🤔 if he pay fees for his franchisor?
