"The car is making loud noises when I go on the hwy. Not sure what happened when they worked on the car. Will have to re-visit snd return the vehicle On a side note, they are the only service available through your site. Although it is under 10 miles from my condo it is a challenging drive due to traffic. Would love to have a closer and more convenient location. "

"I've had two experiences with this shop - first one was an oil change via a Groupon, which went well. I was impressed, so the second was calling for a price quote, which did not go nearly as well. I have an injury that prevents me from working on my cars, so I diagnose symptoms myself, and ask shops for estimated pricing on specific repairs. If things are more complicated (and they often are), I talk to the tech and figure out a solution. In this specific case, my inspection clearly showed the failure mode, the failure mode is common, I am certain of the cause, and I've performed the repair myself multiple times - there is no question about what I need: A component is worn out - replace the component and problem solved. I asked for an estimate of the price on this straightforward repair - a remove-and-replace. They asked me a few questions and asked that I bring the car in, which was not possible. I asked again for just the estimate that I requested. I was referred multiple times to a 3rd party website to check pricing. I asked if they used pricing from that website, and the person on the phone admitted that they did not, but insisted that they could look it up for me if I wasn't able. I asked again if I could just have just a quote with just the repair I asked about, to which the person agreed, then went to that same website, and suggested a price between $400-750, which encompasses the majority of all minor repairs to this vehicle. That's not a quote, or a price, it's a giant range, which did not address my estimate request at all. By this time, I had asked for exactly the same thing SIX times, took these repeated non-answers as a flat-out refusal to estimate, and gave up. I understand the inclination to have a tech look at cars before pricing. I also understand that under those circumstances, there might be more damage than an estimate would cover. I told that to the rep, but what I don't understand is an absolute refusal to estimate a price on a remove-and-replace repair, at all. I didn't want or ask for a quote to fix-my-car or a certified inspection or anything else. I only wanted to know the price of one specific repair. I was clear about that and they gave me the run around, so they won't get this repair and probably won't get the next one. I quickly called three other shops, each of which was able to return me an actual estimate within minutes. The car is going in to one of them tomorrow afternoon. Their estimate was at the bottom of that range and they were able to quote while I was on the phone. 4 stars for the 1st visit, minus 1 for refusing to do the estimate."
"I came here for a simple oil change and I had to pay over $500 to get my car fix. They removed the plug, broke some string, and told me that there is no way to fix it except installing a new oil pan. They repeatedly denied that it was their fault. How it is not their fault? They were the one removing it and it broke. They blamed the last oil change (which was somewhere else). I know they deliberately sabotage it because I denied a lot of "repairs" they recommended me. They found so many problems with my car that weren't there a few months ago. I had my car thoroughly inspected (Missouri inspection package) just over 4 months ago at another place, and they found no problem. When I came here, they found so many problems that needed to be repair. That should have been a red flag for me to take my car and leave asap. But I didn't because they look friendly. When I asked them how much is the part, he said $500. I told him to order the part (I agreed to pay $500 for the parts) because I need my car. When I come to pick it up, it turned out the part cost around $250, and labor cost $250. I told them not charge me labor because since they were the one that broke it they should take respoinsibility to fix it. They threaten to call authority on me if I don't pay. I agreed in the beginning to pay $500 for the parts, so money was not an issue anymore; it is a matter of principle. I thought they had the decency to fix it without charging for labor, since they were the one that broke it. No one will admit that they made a mistake, especially when there is profit to be made from lying and denying all responsibilities. The most shady auto shop I had ever encounter. Stay away from this place."
