Warranties are honored Nationwide at all AAMCO centers
Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"Only trust them to work on transmissions. Had my front brake pads & rotors replaced on the auto store group dime. I heard a funny noise coming from the front brakes just repaired, went back explained to the manager what I heard, and he ups and walked away from me not giving a damn! Went to Barbour Hendrick Honda to get it check again and come to find out they put the wrong equipment on my car. You would think the manager who ordered the parts would have gotten that right at least! Brought my car back with paperwork from Barbour Hendrick Honda and made them put the correct parts on my car. One of the worst experiences yet! The mechanic apologized to me and corrected the problem but the manager said nothing, go figure. Guest he couldn't handle the truth."

"Yikes! Wasn't expecting the transmission on my 2005 gently driven 82.000 mile Ford Focus to "explode" on Monday. Did NOT want "the dealership" to handle this one... haven't been having success with them as of late. My neighbor works at AAMCO, and they've taken care of my other vehicle repairs, thus... gave them a call. They were very nice, up front, and fast! Even helped with rental advice and more. My car was ready a day ahead of schedule and it came in $200 under quote....so; I had them check out the cooling system, which needed a charge. Now; I have a quality re-built transmission with a 50,000/3yr warranty and I'm freezing my *** off!!!!! Yeah! Very satisfied customer! Don't by a new car folks! Keep the one you have in good repair and on the road!"

"My Mazda 3 isn't starting. I had transmission problem with it. They fixed it but now the starter needed repaired which I did. And my car is still not not starting. I wouldn't recommend to no one"
