AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care - 8211

"I just want to say that Lindsay was fabulous with me. We took our Audi in just yesterday for a second opinion regarding the transmission. Audi of Fresno had diagnosed the problem as, needing a new transmission and of course it cost at Audi $9000 to be replaced. Because of problems with extended warranty, it was not going to be covered, which I won’t go into because that’s not necessary for this review. So yesterday I decided to get a second opinion. This was the only transmission place that we would look at an Audi transmission besides Audi. Guess what? It wasn’t the transmission after all it was 2 Coils and 4 spark plugs. They were honest with me quick and fix the car less than $250 later the car runs great. I took a copy of the receipt and the work that they did to Audi service to show the manager, unfortunately he’s gone until Monday. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say about his technician who diagnosed the problem with our Audi. All that gave negative reviews on this place maybe you should rethink what actually happened and learn proper grammar. I had only an exceptionally great experience with AAMCO and I will be bringing ALL my cars back to them from now on. Thank you Lindsey for being so awesome, I appreciate all your help. Thank you AAMCO transmissions and total car care for saving me $8500!!!"

"I am verry disappointed. I went in their to get my oil changed in my transmission. Got it done. But then in a few days I found out the streep my screw and one was loose.Then I called and they would not take me with out an apiontment???? I explain to the girl that a nswear the phone I don't have a schedule at work. But the day I have a day off they won't take me in to fix it?what they did, their mistake and the day I am working they do?. I need a lawyer???"

"Horrible service .I don't recommend it the person that attended us B.Sd us and did not know what they were talking about. Paid a pretty penny. Vehicle was in the shop for 5 days so they can tell us what we already knew I might as well have given the money to my cousin so he can buy himself some cases of beer and at least he could crack a few jokes about it. All we got from these guys was a huge disappointment. If I can leave no stars whatsoever I would."

"This place is so slow. They either need to hire mpre people which I'm sure they can afford to because their prices are so high or they need to fire the people they have and hire new ones who actually do the job asap."

"I'll never go here again. Spent over $7,000 to repair 2 transmissions here a few years ago. Got the lifetime warranty on one of them and have been taking it in for the annual check ups, however this last time I went I was told that I don't have a lifetime warranty, I was told the computer shows I never purchased a warranty, I also never received papers from annual check ups and they never put in the computer I came for the annual check ups which I did. This place will do anything to take your money then void your warranty. My other car than had a transmission replaced they never told me the gasket between the transmission and engine was bad after they replaced the transmission and a few months later my mechanic told me that I need to replace gasket between the engineand transmission because the car is leaking oil. They don't do good work here at aamco and take your money and dont like to do warranty work later. Spend your hard earned money someplace else. "
