Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"I have a 53 Ford that I built over the last 7 or 8 years. It's been a daily driver except when I rebuilt the motor and tried to get the C-5 to function. It never shifted correctly. I had a rather negative experience with AAMCO a few years ago, not with their work, with the owner. On a hunt for a fitting I stopped in and met the nicest people! They gave me the fitting. So I spoke with them about my transmission issues and they explained how they rebuilt them. I gave it a shot and the transmission now shifts perfectly. The price was within reason, timely work, and they kept my hot rod safely inside for the entire time they had it. Great people and superb service. Thank you guys!!!!"

"I dragged my broken down heap of a truck in to Aamco in Nampa on a Sunday and left a note with the keys. I got a call first thing the next morning from Jason to plan the repairs needed. He was patient and professional, and eased my worries about being able to fix my truck. It only took them a week to completely rebuild the transmission and fix a long list of leaks and broken parts. I was ready to take it to the junk yard, but now it runs and shifts like new. They gave me almost daily updates of the progress and prices of each repair.
