"I don’t even want to give them 1 star!!!!! I brought in my car because it wasn’t pulling , I was informed it was a transmission leak. The manager told me they would check the transmission to insure no internal damage was done before I paid to get the leak fixed. I told him if I needed to get a new transmission I wasn’t going to get it fixed, I was going to get rid of the car. The manager called me back and told me my transmission looks fine and it would be 95$ to fix the leak. I came to pick my car up and ended up paying 179.95$. I was upset but I needed my car fixed to get back to work so I overlooked it. As I was driving home I smelled gas so I took my car back. I had a fuel pump put on a couple of weeks ago from a different shop, they were booked so I couldn’t take my car back to them. I took my car back to aamco for them to look at it, my fuel line was broken. I paid 174$ for them to fix it, when I got my car back Tuesday morning I felt the transmission slipping, I never got a chance to drive the car when it got fix the first time because of the gas leak. I took it back Wednesday The manger told me to leave it for them to inspect it. They had me waiting forever as usual, when I return the manager informed me that my transmission was no longer any good. At this point I’m upset in tears because he told me my transmission was good before they fixed the leak. If I wouldn’t known that my transmission was bad I would’ve of kept my money and got a new car. He was rude and disrespectful about it. He also degraded my car as well. The good part about is my iPhone app records all my phone calls so I most definitely will be taking them to court, also contacting the better business bureau as well. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. They are unprofessional and scam artist, that’s why they offer you a free oil change for a positive review online. I am devastated at how I was treat , I could’ve had a new car if I wasn’t lied too. PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS , don’t waste your time or money."
"Regardless of everyone else experience mine was great!!! They stayed in contact with me through the whole process giving me updates on my car issues and solutions. I was skeptical at first even though I was recommended by a friend. Like I said before my experience was great and I do recommend anyone to go there."
"I had no problems service was great and price was better than any other shops and was done in the time I was told. And the people was very friendly and helpful. They also went back behind so one else work and fixed the problem for free great people try them out."
"Gear shift lever bushing replaced. AAMCO Manager very knowledgeable about what my car needed, had part replaced in 10 mins no charge. I recommend this place to anyone with transmission problem."
"Had a horrible experience. My wife's Lexus needed a new Transmission. Lexus recommend taking it to a transmission shop to save cost because it was not a big job that most shop can do. AAMCO messed up badly. I had to bring the car back to Lexus to get them to fix what AAMCO broke during the installation. Lexus think they forgot to disconnect harness from transmission when the took down transmission, ripping the pins from connector. They tried to solder it back but messed that up. Lexus had to rewired new connector. Bad thing is AAMCO charged me extra for the mistake and then I had to pay LEXUS to fix their mistake. They got new management and likely inexperience employee. STAY AWAY."
