Warranties are honored Nationwide at all AAMCO centers
Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"We started from Knoxville to look for and purchase a jeep. We ended up in New York after 2 people ignored us. Went to Niagara Falls then decided to go home. 30 miles south of Buffalo the transmission of or 2003 Pt Cruiser died. Great now were 12 hours from home and a dead car. We called AAMCO because it's the only name I recognized. They come out and towed us back and quoted the repair. Turns out the transmission was completely dead. Very very helpful. The kept us very informed even with us having to find a local hotel. And Mike helped us out the entire way finding and recommending places to stay as well as some food. He quoted us our price and said that that was the final amount. They wouldn't go over it like most mechanics like to adding on things here and there. He even saved us some money with our bad string of luck. Over all the experience was exceptional and the rebuilt transmission was ready to get us home. Thank you Mike and all the mechanics whom work on our car and even stayed later than closing to get us back in the road."
