Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"I had to get my vehicle towed in. It wouldn't go in reverse. I had other problems with it as well. I called about everything I knew was wrong with it . George was very helpful. I knew I needed a trans and some other things but I couldn't do it all at once. They told me everything that was wrong with it and why some things needed to be addressed as well for other preventative maintenance when the repairs were being made. They helped me apply for financing. When I got my vehicle back, they went over everything with me, I had brought my dad with me and he was pleased with their work as well. I thank you guys for making sure I had a peace of mind about my car. You guys were awesome. Thanks Again!"

"MY TRANSMISSION WAS SLIPPING AND I THOUGHT SINCE I BROUGHT IT IN EARLY THERE MIGHT BE A CHANCE IT CAN BE REPAIRED, NO SUCH LUCK THEY CHARGED ME OVER 3000.00 WITH ONLY AN 18,000 MI WARRANTY. ON MY WAY HOME I NOTICED A REAL HARD SHIFT FROM 1ST TO 2ND. AFTER TWO DAYS I REALIZED ITS NOT GETTING ANY BETTER SO I RETURNED IT AND THEY SAY ITS A SOLENOID AND HAS TO BE ORDERED SO NOW THIS MAKES 5 DAYS WITH NO TRUCK.
THEN I GET A CALL SAYING IT WAS THE REAR ALL ALONG AND IT WILL BE ANOTHER 2,000.00 SO I DECLINED AND PICKED UP MY TRUCK WHICH HAD A DEAD BATTERY AND NOW MAKES A RUMBLING NOISE THE WAS NOT THERE THE FIRST TIME I PICKED IT UP AND STILL SHIFTS ROUGH AND AT TIMES TAKES A LONG TIME TO SHIFT AROUND 3200 RPM BEFORE IT SHIFTS. WHEN I CONFRONTED THEM ABOUT THE REAR THEY TOLD ME IT HAPPENED WHEN THE TECHNICIAN POWER BRAKED IT. SUPPOSEDLY THAT'S WHAT THEY DO TO TEST IT, SO THEY ADMITTED TO DAMAGING THE REAR, BUT ITS NOT THERE FAULT BECAUSE IF I HAD POWER BRAKED IT, (DON'T KNOW WHY I WOULD) IT WOULD OF HAPPENED ANYWAY. GOD DAME CROOKES. SO NOW IM BACK TO WHERE I STARTED WITH AN UNRELIABLY TRUCK AND 3000.00 IN DEBT ON TOP. SHOULD OF TOOK IT TO RALFS TRANSMISSIONS"

"I'm not sure if these "great" reviews here are paid for but I wouldn't be surprised. Here is a very honest review. I went to AAMCO in Vineland because I believed something was wrong with my transmission. I spoke with John and he seemed very nice. I get a call about half hour after I drop of my vehicle. John proceeds to tell me that my vehicle is misfiring because of spark plugs and he recommended a cleaning of what he called fuel induction cleaning. No problem I thought. Well I went to pick up my vehicle I get an outrageous total. 500 dollars!!! For changing my spark plugs and putting a cleaning agent in my fuel line!! Wow! What dishonest thieves! I checked into how much a spark plug was for my vehicle the premium spark plugs for my vehicle were 10 bucks each! The cleaning agent was no more then 25 bucks. What a rip off! I don't recommend this place to ANYONE! They smile and act all nice but there just thieves! Save yourself the money and go to another shop and don't believe these B.S. reviews. This place will overcharge you and rob you. Save yourself go somewhere else!!!!"

"I Literally sat in the office waiting for service for 10 minutes while the guy in the back office was on the phone and the lady that was supposed be at the front desk was outside on the phone babbling and smoking!! Talk about unprofessional and she was talking about personal business because I stepped outside to show I was waiting for servic. She looked at me and went right back to babbling. Maybe because I didn't "look" like someone that was worthy of being helped??? I had a transmission replacement that I needed done and was prepared to leave the truck but sense nobody was on duty I walked across the parking lot ( women still on the phone) got in my truck and took it up the street. To that blonde haired lady JUST DO YOUR JOB OR AT LEAST BE COURTEOUS!
Update: The OWNERS RESPONSE is I have the wrong AAMCO. Its impossible to have the WRONG AAMCO because Google brings up the place when you're there to right the review! Not sorry or what can we do better? THE OWNER blames me for my AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I have done a hundred or more REVIEWS and I take them seriously. There are other reviewers saying that the good review's might be FAKE! Next time I'll take pictures of the staff talking on cell phones and to the owner this happened in June and YES a woman was working there."
