Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"Needed work done on my ride but didn’t have time to shop around. Thought I’d give these guys a try. Years ago I wasn’t happy with this AAMCO, but I was desperate. Well, I’m glad I gave this shop another shot. New ownership is there and it shows right from the get go. The shop was clean and had a professional look (wasn’t that way before). Greeted by Kay. She was great. She got my car into the techs, diagnostics was done quickly, the repairs were fully explained to me and I went ahead with getting the work done. Everything fixed. No problems. Still I wondered if I got a good deal. I decided to call around asking for estimates. Most shops wanted me to bring the car in, but I was able to get some quotes. Turns out I got a great deal. So, as long as the new management is around, I will make this AAMCO my go to shop from now on."

"I brought my truck in because the transmission was shifting very hard. I was told to leave it at this Aamco to be looked at. I left the truck and WALKED HOME about 4 miles. Later that day I was told there’s nothing they can tell is wrong with out dropping the pan and look for Metal fragments. I say OK well come drop the pan and let’s see what’s wrong if anything I get the truck back and about two days later I have a transmission fluid leaking all over my driveway before I brought the truck in I never had a leak just a hard shift so I go back by and I’m told we’re too busy right now can you come back another day( some service that is) so I bring the truck back by I’m told they used the wrong gasket they put in another gasket and about three days later it starts leaking again I called I spoke to someone who said oh we’re going to have to put in a different type of gasket I bring it back I walk home again and about two weeks later guess what? Yep, leaking again so I called and explained the problem again and the person I spoke with said bring it by I opted not to after three different tries so I climbed underneath and all the bolts to the pan were loose . I think they’re very busy because they repair the same cars that they work on over and over. I do not recommend this place. UPDATE: 2/15/18 EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL NEW OWNER JAMES IS JUST AS BAD AS THE LAST PERSON WHO OWNED THE PLACE.I was told by one person my transmission pan needed a new bolt and gasket which they did not do right the first time and than I was told it was an oil leak. Anyone knows the difference between transmission fluid and the color of oil. For those of you who don't know Transmission fluid is pink/reddish: Oil is a darker color OWNER JAMES CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE when shown on a "little piece of paper" as he put it. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND BE CAREFUL.SEEMS LIKE A BAIT AND SWITCH TO ME. I WOULD GIVE ZERO IF I COULD. ANOTHER UPDATE: This shop is so INEPT they can't even order the right bolts for ME to install on work they did WRONG......F- AND THE SAGA CONTINUES .... SEE PHOTOS... LOOK AT HOW MY TRANSMISSION IS LEAKING !!!!!!!!!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE. THIS IS HOW THEY "FIXED" MY TRANSMISSION. TRUCK IS NOW UNDRIVEABLE. You send out a generic email to cover you A** James the owner treated me with utter disrespect and I was very uncomfortable with his demeanor. He had the NERVE to tell me I was unhappy with my life. I have this on record. My life is fine without AAMCO IN IT!! I would never return to your little shop of horrors or any other AAMCO. You posted the reply after I was already at your "shop" BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE"
"WOW! can’t believe how bad they did me I took my car into have a tranny replaced and fix all my oil leaks they repair the transmission but didnt fix the oil leaks didn’t realize until a few mos. later that my car was still leaking oil so I take it back too them. Now there under different ownership but they did honor my expired contract but the repair they supposedly did should have been fix before. The repairs took them almost two weeks to repair my car. When I receive my car back you would not believe me but there was oil stains everywhere in my car and on my paint they left my car like they was a backyard garage repair shop beware consumers"
"Took a 92 work truck in, was advised that it would be worth having the engine replaced instead of purchasing a newer one. Gave the okay with an estimate a bit over $4700.00. They gave me a date of when the work would be completed but when the day came, all I got was the run around. I finally got it 8 days after the work was to be completed. When I finally got it, I had problems with it and it had to go back the very next day. It's been 5 days now and this time the truck is "ready" and it's sitting in their parking lot because I didn't have an extra $200 to pay. The manager is rude, he's someone who should not be dealing with the public. Personally I think he's racist and the only reason I say that is because he was not only rude and sarcastic with me but also with the African American lady that was right behind me. He tended to the Caucasian fellow very well. Just sayin. I trusted this place to do their job and do it with integrity but they fell short. I do believe in what goes around comes around. Look elsewhere if you want honest, respectful and caring people on your side. If I wouldn't have trusted their ratings, I would've just bought a new truck with that money. Now their saying it's got problems with the transmission. It was fine before we took it in. Go figure."
