Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"My experience at Aamco was a nightmare. Ben the front desk guy was personable, but I always felt like he was not being truthful, because my car was not ready to be picked up for more than 3 weeks. Aamco broke my radiator & other necessary parts like my hood, & specific engine parts which is documented by Trenton Motor Works. My car was towed to Aamco on April 24th & not returned to me until May 17th. 1 hour after I was told to come pick my car up by Ben the manager it broke down & I had to have it towed to Trenton Motor Works to have it properly repaired. After Aamco received $4,970 including $650 out of pocket from me, which Ben demanded in cash my 2010 Infiniti was still not driveable. Aamco had me pick my car up with my hood not able to shut. Aamco returned my car filthy with mechanic grease inside & outside the vehicle. I truly felt like I had been robbed. Once Ben & Aamco received payment from my warrenty co & me Ben the manager acted like he could care less. It is my intention to report Aamco to the Better Business Bureau. I've reached out to channel 6 Action News Problem Solvers & I plan to sue Aamco for not properly repairing my vehicle. Major work like engine replacement doesn't seem to be something that Aamco can do in a timely or effective manner. Ben the manager & Aamco took my money gave my car back to me without a quality control check to make sure the work was done properly & once they got payed no one seem to care that my 2010 Infiniti was not driveable. I feel obligated to inform the public that this Aamco shop is over charging & taking the customers money without completing full repairs & the Owner Mark is ok with that, as long as the money goes into his pocket. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP. 😞"
"Don't go here I pay 3,500.00 to rebuilt my transmission on my truck guess what the transmission is out again is diesel truck y bring under warranty 3 time and they change only one thing the safety range few wee later again same problem when they rebuilt trans. They only change what is bad is much better remanufactured transmission search on Google the difference and you see that's I do all ready please don't go there if the worst place to fix you car or truck"

"Would give half a star if I could. Entirely different staff except Mexican looking guy. Jason is the worst. They have some type of dislike for GCW warranty company. Jason tried to throw on extra repairs that my warranty did not cover. Guys sit around like they are on a constant break. Place sucks"
