EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). "Courteous and professional staff, great service, nice waiting room. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is the prominently featured autographed picture of Trump hanging in the lobby. Can't you please keep your politics out of your business and not alienate 50% of your customer base? Easily 5 stars if they'd take it down and put it in their home or personal office where it belongs."
"I have been using this location for over two years now. They have delivered nothing short of exceptional work and I love the atmosphere in the lobby. Great group of people and the owners contribute to our vets in the community."
"7/2018 We only trust Aamco in PV with our vehicles now. Honda prices are almost double what Aamco quotes. They give personal attention and really care. My van not only needed work done that Honda quotes at over 1800, but they do it with quality for less than 1000. Also, my van ended up needing Freon. I couldn't pay for it now and Kathleen said they'd do it and we could come back and pay later, ANYTIME. Who does that? My son has medical complexities and can't be in heat. she didn't know that, but still offered. Awesome people. 2/2018 Not only did they fix our van for $200 less than what Prescott Honda quoted me (they didn't even know what Honda quoted me), they drove my van all the way to my house in White Horse Ranch for me. I wasn't going to be able to pick up my van until after hours, so Kathleen offered to drive back to the shop to give me my keys if i couldn't find my spare. Really? What shop has ever offered that kind of service? She then said that they would actually be able to drive the van to my house. Hands down the BEST service I've ever received. Will be taking our vehicles here from now on. They're GOLD!"
"Excellent Customer service did not make up for the incompetent mechanic(s). Our car broke down while on a day-trip in June and took it to Aamco the next morning. They couldn't diagnose even though I told them the engine code was "multiple misfire" (per autozone). We had to get a room for the night. The next day they couldn't diagnose still. We had to get another room for the night. On the third day I started asking more questions. Asking the mechanic if he checked for spark and verified that the distributor was good. He and front office said the car did not have a distributor. I physically went to the engine with the mechanic and pointed directly at the distributor.... all I heard was crickets (the excuse the office gave was "he thought it was an internal distributor like the other Sebring models"). They gave me the option to purchase a new distributor (non-refundable) to eliminate the possibility that this would be the cause; had no choice but to pursue this option. The new distributor allowed the car to maintain idle and was drive-able. They stayed a little later to get this done but after the test drive they pulled it up to the door for us to take home; left it running (it was obvious they were pushing us out the door). It still did not sound like the car was idling correctly. The owner said," there is still something wrong with it but it will get you home." Being that we lost out on valuable work time and cost of hotels we decided to go home and address it with our local mechanic. On our way home, at 9:00 pm the car's engine light came on, while on the freeway, and the car began to cough and eventually stalled. With a pen light, an hour later, I found out that the mechanic re-routed the spark plug wires to the distributor incorrectly and that was the cause of the "something wrong" that the owner mentioned earlier. After we looked up and corrected firing order, reassembling the ancillary parts around the distributor (for access), the car ran fine. We were not happy to be stuck in the middle of the night on the side of the road with no nearby towns. We eventually made it home and called the owners to notify them and we were assured that we would get a return call. To date 07/31/2018, we have not received a return call nor have we been offered any type of refund for the incompetency of their "master mechanic" or inconvenience they have caused us (time, money, and energy to say the least). We left it in their hands to make it up to us but now we are confident that they simply do not care. 1 star review but the husband and wife owners have excellent customer service skills and that was never the issue (even gave us a ride to our hotel one night; as they were attending a wine mixer there). If the mechanic knew to check for all the "misfire" potentials we would've been out of there the same day! If I didn't know a little about cars I'm sure they would've eventually told us that nothing could be done. After expenses we have NOT been made whole and the owners dropped the ball by not calling us back after we told them of our breakdown AFTER they replaced the distributor. We are not unreasonable but the mechanic AND owners show no accountability. They are just smart enough to skirt around it and hard to notice if you don't watch closely. Patrons beware. P/S: when we arrived to check on the car on day 3 (late afternoon) the owner told us that the mechanic was not working on our car because there were other jobs that needed to be done. She told him to leave our car alone. REALLY! She knew our situation and deliberately delayed repair! This is what initiated very direct questions to the mechanic and eventually lead to me pointing out that the car HAD A DISTRIBUTOR. SMH"
"They were very helpful and honored my military husband with a free oil change. Then gifted him with a newer scooter to replace his aging and in-need-of-repair older scooter. Truly a blessing to our community."
