AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care - 18762

"This AAMCO is a terrible place to bring your car. I took my car in for some maintenance, Transmission filter and fluid change where I was quoted $215.00. Over $400.00, several days and 5 trips later. I received by car back and low and behold it had been damaged. And, that's not the worst of it. Daniel (owner) insisted that it was not done at the shop (I took pictures of the damage). By the way he is the most unprofessional owner I have ever come across. I took the issue to corporate where I was told that they were unable to do anything due to that they are independent franchises. No, help there. With several calls that did not get returned by Daniel, finally getting a hold of him, he tells me that he will not take responsibility, will not compensate for the damages, and he has a guy that will give a good deal on repainting my car door. I went out and solicited quotes for the repairs just shy of $700. Please, please do not take your car here to be worked on. I am sorry Del (the manger), you are the only reason the business is alive and I wish you the best. To your response; This review is for future costumers to be aware. First of all there were no issues with the transmission, it was due for a transmission maintenance. I did not feel comfortable selling the car with maintenance due. That is the reason for taking it in. The real reason for the negative review is that you refused to acknowledge and take responsibility for the damage cause by your employees. If you would have stepped up like a responsible business owner and taken care to the issue the review would be different."

"I don't know who these one star review people are (they are probably competitors looking to bash this shop to obtain better rankings with Google). Truthfully - we have had nothing but the best experience from Del and his team. The first thing about auto repair is to be realistic about what needs to be done in order to get the right result. Del and the team there were very straight up about the problems with the cars we have taken to them over the years and have treated us more than fair. The best thing is that they didn't try to 'nickle and dime' us to death in order to get more billings like other shops. They gave us very frank assessments of the problems with a realistic estimate of when it would be completed and the cost. I would recommend this shop but moreover I would recommend that people don't expect miracles and expect to pay nothing. If you want to price shop, you can go to other shops in town and waste your time. If you want the job done correctly, with honesty quality and warranty - go to AAMCO Transmission & Total Care. "Super honest, very helpful, free transmission check - no hassle. We drove down from Southern Colorado and ran into what we thought was a transmission problem. The guys at AAMCO checked it out and put our minds at ease. They suggested we get a transmission flush when we get back home and fixed our "check engine" sensor."

"Kudos to the manager and Kim who stayed over past closing and went above and beyond for us. We were on vacation for a graduation and our transmission gave out wouldn't stay in park. They worked it out with dealer of part who also stayed past closing to get our truck fixed and sent us on our way the same day! Thank you guys we are ever so grateful. Highly recommend!"

MY WORK VEHICLE WAS NOT PROPERLY SECURED AND LEFT UNATTENDED. EITHER THE OWNER DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS PROPERTY OR WAS IN ON THE THEFT .
