Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"I was given Alejandro’s name from a friend of mine. Another mechanic told me that I had a major transmission problem. And while Alejandro could have charged me for expensive transmission work he explained that a cable was installed incorrectly. During these challenging times it is comforting to deal with a business owner that is honest, trustworthy, and has integrity. I was prepared to spend a lot of money to fix my transmission And I would have been none the wiser if he charged me for work that was not needed. I highly recommend AAMCO in Cathedral City. "I would never recommend using AMMCO for work on VW EuroVan. They are completely incompetent and showed very little professionalism towards us. We gave them a working vehicle and they could not give us back a working vehicle after having it for over two months. I had to pry updates out of them by calling all the time as they never called me directly to give me updates. They would not even help pay for the tow we needed to a specialty shop and the tow cost over $400. We finally parted ways after spending $5500 of which we got a full refund back."
