"Jerry was so helpful and explained everything in a way I could easily comprehend what was being done to my vehicle. Went in for what I thought was a minor A/C leak turns out I needed a major repair. They know what they’re doing and it shows. AAMCO got my car working normally in no time. I went in alone and they made sure I knew everything I needed to know. They made sure they called me for authorization before beginning any new work. I also really appreciate that they give you your total in advance so nothing comes back as a shock."
"I went here last month to get my car checked out. I needed a new alternator. I asked them to check my brakes as well because my brake light was on on the dashboard. They said they checked them and that I was just in need of brake fluid. They filled the brake fluid up. Alternator is great no weird noises there. It’s now a month later and my brake pads and rotors are needing to be replaced on the front axel. My brake fluid is leaking. I am having to replace the front caliper. All of this could of been prevented or fixed if they would of actually checked my brakes!!! I was hoping that this would be the place I finally felt comfortable going to since I am a young single lady. I was very happy with the alternator. Not happy with the guy up front who laughed and had his nose up in the air because I don’t work on cars and I don’t know everything about them. Not happy with them obviously not checking my brakes. This is not the place for me but maybe you will have better luck. That is if your not a single young lady."
"So let me start off by saying my first couple of times going to these guys I had great service and an exceptional inspection done on our vehicles. My husband and I have older cars and knew that we had to make a decision on what vehicle we could afford to fix and which vehicle we needed to get rid of. Ultimately because we are expecting our third kid and because our mustang was in terrible condition we decided it needed to go. So we then brought our third vehicle up for an inspection, again to see what is going to be the better route to fix first... The gentleman told me that since this was our third time I would have to pay for the inspection... Okay I'm fine with that, I understand nobody wants to work for free 🤷 would have been nice to know when I called to set up my third appointment but nonetheless I decided to go ahead with what I was told would be a $55 inspection fee. Later I get a call telling me I need a complete overhaul on my AC which was going to cost like $1500+/-... And then was told that in order to look at the reason why my truck was dying that I was going to have to pay them $110 an hour with about three hours of work pay just to look at why my truck was dying! They did the VERY same inspection on my Saturn and didn't charge me a dime! I understand we might have rubbed them the wrong way, but that is no reason to try to bully your customers into paying you. In my personal opinion i should have been told up front that on top of that $55 inspection fee I would now also have to pay labor. We had planned on bringing the Saturn and eventually our truck back to be worked on with this aamco, but with a third child on the way and one income we needed time to get our ducks in a row and figure out how we were going to make the payments. All in all they do a very good inspection, in fact they inspected my mom's Cadillac just yesterday for free and to her satisfaction. I guess just make sure you don't rub them the wrong way and you will get great service. However when it comes time to get the work done on our vehicles we will not be using this aamco, sadly. I honestly thought this was going to be my life long shop 😞 on to the next one"
"Asked them to fix an oil and power steering leak. 4 days later I got my truck back without any anti-freeze (removed radiator hose to gain access to power steering pump) overheating engine 3 miles down the road. Opened good and realized they didn't reassemble my engine properly . Went back to get missing parts and clamps for hoses and their excuses were "the new hose didn't come with clamps" REALLY? Never again"
"I took my truck in to get the AC checked. They were able to diagnose the issue and repair it cheaper than any other place wanted just to do a diagnostics on it. They were extremely polite and professional."
