Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"Inspection reported several problems that no one had indicated before. I don't know if all these issues occurred in the last 3 months, or I was being oversold. Then, when I go that bill, the copy given to me didn't list any of these issue so I can't research them adequately."
"Terrible! TER-RI-BLE!! The spent 22 minutes with my car from driving it in to finish. They missed several very obvious issues that fell within the advertised list of things to be checked. (THAT WAS THE REASON WHY I CHOSE THIS SERVICE! I WANTED THOSE OBVIOUS ISSUES REPAIRED.) When I drove up, there were 2 mechanics inside of the garage starring at me with smirks on their faces. They kept looking at me until I finally walked into the front door. When I walked in, the reception was completely ice cold! I felt like I was disturbing them. When they finished, I asked about a particular issue and the service person just said..."oh, they didn't say anything about that." Instead of saying...Maybe we missed that, let's bring it back in and check it...It was just blown off. I was very leery 1 because it was after lunch when I got there, (consumer reports states that most complaints of shoddy auto mechanic work occurs during the hours after the mechanics have had lunch) and 2 when I drove up and saw 1 car inside the shop, 2 cars in the parking lot, 3 guys standing around in the shop area chumming it up, no other customers in sight and very poor kept grounds. Meanwhile, 2 of the other shops that I drove by to get to this one were busting at the seams with customers and cars inside of the shops. Now, I am going to do the service over with someone else so that I can actually have issues repaired. Basically, I just paid for a very expensive oil change and tire rotation. Your work ethic is a direct reflection of the benefits you will reap. "
