Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"Just picked up my car after it being at the shop for over a month. Took a little longer than usual due to 2021 pandemic staffing issues. But everyone is having that problem, not just them. Brought my car in to replace the transmission and for how painful and stressful that can be, they made it much easier with their honesty and expertise. Before I took my car, I checked reviews of the local shops. When I saw their high score I figured they did some kind of discount for a 5 star review. Nope. Didn’t even mention it or have any signage in the front. Just good dudes. Special thanks to Jeremy up at the front. He put up with all my questions and my constant updates with exactly where they were at in the repair process. Most importantly he never made me feel like I was bothering him and it was easy to see he genuinely enjoyed helping people. Such a rare thing for an auto shop.. even more rare in 2021. My new go-to place. Thanks guys."

"I have called twice since you replied. I took my truck to two different repair shops about the codes. Both said the codes have nothing to do with the trans. I end up taking my truck to a different transmission shop. They pulled out parts that should hv been replaced. Since my truck left that shop I had no problems with it."

"4th shop I’ve taken my 1 week old Tundra (new to me😑) to diagnose trans issues. They don't charge for the diagnosis like the other 3, including the dealer. Finger’s crossed I’ll get good news this am when I hear what the issue is. The free diagnosis is HUGE as other shops charged me $49-$115. I’ve found them professional, knowledgeable and courteous so far."

"Back January I had my truck work on by Aamco. After rebuilding my transmission I had got my and started transporting boats. Just over month my transmission started acting up again and I had to take it back. After aamco looked side the transmission and said there had got some bad parts they had felt apart and they had to needed to rebuild it again. After they rebuild the transmission again I was out for three weeks. It broke again by this time my warrent was out.
Aamco will not stand behind there work.
Do anyone knows who i can go to for legal help?"
