"My car and I showed up without an appointment seeking help for my car that was breaking down. Miles away from home this repair center had me fixed up and down the road by the end of the day. Grateful that the waiting area was comfortable and had plenty of things to keep me occupied while I waited. You guys were great so I needed to tell you through this review that I appreciate your great customer service."
"My dad gave me his older Corvette as my first car. As fun as this car may be driving it really isn't that good on gas. I took her in to see the folks at AAMCO to get her tuned up , oiled up and everything else in between. I was able able to take advantage of discounts offered and the diagnostic test came up with some other bells and whistles that I was unaware of. These folks went over all the results and told me what was urgent and what could wait until later on when I have more money. So, at the end of the day she runs like a champ. She really has some getup and go. Thanks AAMCO and thanks dad. Appreciate it."
"I came in to AAMCO because I wanted a second opinion about some repair work that I was told was needed from another repair shop not to far away from here. Funny thing is...the other shop started to get a little nervous when I said I would be back after I asked around about the worked they said I needed. Anyway, I came into AAMCO and didn't say anything about the other shop to see what they came up with. So, after the diagnostic test and a examination from the mechanic at AAMCO, I was informed of the work needed. The results were just as I thought. Ignition coil failure bank 2 sensor 2. So I decided to stay and have the work done here. The other shop had a long list of stuff . I like a honest repair shop not one that is giving me a honey do list. Thanks AAMCO for being trustworthy."
"Vince, the manager, was knowledgeable and helpful. His team installed the transmission cooler I asked for and also looked over my suspension, noting that the only items needing service were my 2 rear shocks. I was impressed with his honesty and his integrity when I asked open-ended questions that could have led to spending a much larger sum of money on unnecessary work. This shop is 10 miles from my house, but it is worth the drive to get quality, honest work done. UPDATE 4/23/17 I've lowered my review to 4 stars because as I was driving around, I kept hearing a new "clunking" sound from the rear of my previously very quiet Pilot. I had it at the dealer for 4 recalls and discovered the new shocks weren't tightened down. 😯 The dealer wouldn't tighten them and also found my front compliance bushings were "blown out", necessitating their replacement. When I took the car to Firestone for my free alignment they tightened the shocks (at no charge) a full 5 turns and the clunk was gone. This shouldn't have been necessary as AAMCO should have completed the install properly. If I hadn't been pressed for time I would have taken it back to them."
"So I read the reviews posted by the last few customers. Mostly the reviews are good and some are not so good. I have been to AAMCO for repair work in the past and came in again for some needed work to be done on the tranny. I have always been very pleased with the service and the mechanics that have worked on my vehicles. The bottom line is that the final cost at the end of the day might be slightly more than what I was expecting, but tax, labor and other fees are justified and I am always made aware if something comes along that is not expected. All in all AAMCO has done me justice and I trust them enough to fix my tranny."
"Entered without notice on a Saturday morning for basic maintenance & service. The service tech was very pleasant and advised that he could work on my auto..."
