Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"Went to AAMCO for an oil change on my 13 Genesis thru an online deal. I was greeted professionally, and the whole service was performed in under 30 min. I was a little concerned that they may overfill or underfill the oil reservoir, and the light would come on. Been driving for 2 weeks, and haven't had any issue. Good job there!
I hate paying crazy prices for air and cabin filter, and was told during my last visit by the dealership that they should be replaced. I had ordered the OEM filters from Amazon, and they were sitting in the trunk. I requested them to checkout both filters and replace if needed. The technician at AAMCO looked at both filters and said I didn't need any filter replacement at this time, and to hang on to the new ones. This response came as a pleasant surprise.
No attempts to sell un-needed parts or services; a rare quality with mechanic shops nowadays! I would be seeing them every two months for oil changes and specific interval services (30K, 45K, etc); the maintenance aspect is under bumper-to-bumper warranty up to 100K."

"So many places offer a free diagnostic but then when you get there it's a different story Here they mean it! The manager and her team are sweet, amicable and PROFESSIONAL. They ran a check and even recharged my AC for free. I will definitely be back. Check them out if you're in the Denton area and need work on your car.
It's often scary as a woman to bring your car in for service because of the stereotype that mechanics will try to "get one over" on a woman, assuming she doesn't know any better... The team here is knowledgable, honest and fair. I would highly recommend bringing your car here for anything you might need. The only way you'll get better care is if your dad is a mechanic."
