Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"I won't hesitate to extend my recommendations to AAMCO in Bridgewater. I was in need of a transmission work. They did the repair and also included small improvements/repairs here and there for free, for courtesy purposes. The car drives like new and I am very appreciative of the peace of mind that I now have. Thank you!"
"3 STRIKES YOUR OUT!! My who lives in NJ father took his car to this business for a diagnostic and was told it would be $185. They said it would be added to the cost of the repair. When he called to check on the cars diagnostic readings and to tell them he was coming in for his car. He was told that they took it apart ready to do the work. . WHYYYY? He only came in for the diagnostic.... 1. My sister called the company and asked how much was a diagnostic and they told her it was "FREE OF CHARGE" . She then told him to go back and check on his car in person. My brother in law took him back. 2. My father walked to his car and it was still in the same place all intact! Very bad business people. And guess what? My father is a very energetic 85 year old. A vet, Father Grandfather, our hero... 3. You don't treat seniors like this. NO STARS!!!"

"He asked me to leave the car for diagnosis and then I received a call and was told that it would cost me 2k minimum to fix the car and he was going to replace transmission with a used one for this price. I picked up the car, he charged me $180 for diagnosis. I already knew what was the problem. This charge was actually for giving me a quotation for repair cost. I don't recommend this place. I took my car to another mechanic and fixed it for much less."
