Rebuilt Transmission (most vehicles): NOTE: Cars, trucks & vans with a manufacturer's rated capacity of one ton and under receive a 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty. EXCEPTIONS: vehicles with manual transmissions, vehicles over one ton, RV's, police/fire/emergency vehicles, vehicles used as/for rentals, taxis, limousine, snow plowing, commercial towing or "high rail" applications (modified for use on RR tracks). These exception type vehicles receive a 12/12 (US) or 12/20 (Canada) warranty. You can identify the carrying capacity by the VIN. On domestic vehicles, the vehicle is eligible for the 36/50 (US) or 36/80 (Canada) warranty if the 6th digit of the VIN is 3 or less.

"I called for the first time to inquire about getting my brake light switch fixed on my old but reliable for 10+ years vehicle. From the initial conversation Gary was helpful, reassuring of the repair, and flexible. After some maneuvering to get the part and to be sure of what was needed my car was fixed. Gary found it was not the switch but the stopper and fixed the problem for this Damsel in Distress. I cannot thank this crew enough and i will continue to be a customer. "A first class shop. I had my transmission rebuilt last year, but recently experienced some shifting problems. Dropped if off at Aamco in Woodstock. Spoke with Dan a day later. They removed and disassembled the entire transmission to identify the problem. They found a defective "accumulator", a part not known to fail, and replaced. All under warranty. Certainly, no one wants a transmission problem, but, if I ever do have one, this is the shop for me. I'm a customer for life. Dan and Gary might consider starting a YouTube channel? They do it right. (this is not a paid endorsement :))"

"I left my 2009 Impala for 9 days with your business with the poorest communication a repair shop could ever have. This was the most unprofessional I have ever experinced in My 40 plus years of repair work dealing with customers. Owner seems to know his business but no one else including service manager — he is still out to lunch! He Called me today and asked the same question that we discussed on day one! I’ll carry my business elsewhere. I know what you are saying — good, please do that! You got more customers than you can correctly service right now, but if you did all customers the way I was done, you will not have them for long. Have a good day, I did NOT!"

"We brought our 2008 Ford Edge To Aamco in Woodstock because the transmission was slipping. The car only has 66,000 miles . At first we were told the repair would cost between $1,100 to $3,500 depending on what the problem was, worst case a complete rebuild. Dan began researching the problem and found a service bulletin from Ford saying the computer needed to be reprogrammed. They made some minor adjustments and gave me the service bulletin number so I could show it to Ford and schedule repair. They did not even charge us for this service.That is certainly going the extra mile for customer service. I will wholeheartedly recommend this shop to anyone who has transmission problems or if it just needs maintenance."
