"I gave my car for diagnosing the problem related to P1456 & P 1457 codes on 05/03/2014. On 05/05/2014, I was told that the problem is with the Solenoid Bypass valve and it needs to be fixed which I approved. I was charged $411.88 for the service. After I picked up my car and drove around 20 miles, the check engine light came back on with error code P1457. I took the car back again and after 2-3 days, they told me that there is no problem and they gave me the car after resetting the CEL light. Again after driving less than 20 miles, the CEL came back with P1457. I took the car back to them on 05/31/14 and let it be there till 06/20/14 and they haven't given me a proper answer yet. on 06/20/14, they told me that I need to replace my battery for which they want to charge me additional amount of money. Their representative told me that there is a leak but can't exactly locate where it is. I do not understand why they even changed the bypass solenoid valve if that was not the cause of the problem. Do not trust this place. They are a sham and try to swindle money from customers without fixing the problem."
"Bravo. Job well done by an awesome crew. I really appreciated the customer service. The phone calls were appreciated to keep me up to date. I usually would have to call to see what is going on with repair work. A pleasant surprise and I will be coming here from now on for my repair needs. You won me over !"
"I wouldn't go anywhere else because I have always had great work done here. I have had multiple problems with my car and these guys have fixed her up every time. Work is done when they say it will be done and if something comes up along the way, they are on the phone explaining the problem and cost. Thanks guys . You are the best mechanics."
"I trust Aamco with all of our vehicle service and repair work. They have been reasonable in price and very good at fixing the problems on time. Everyone is so nice. If you ask them questions they don't mind taking time out of their day to explain things to you. Thanks for you great customer service for all these years. I have referred many friends and family and they report back with good things to say."
"I really appreciate the fact that the service men at aamco will give me the heads up about other repairs that might be needed to my car. I did get a little upset thinking that they are just trying to make an extra buck on me because I am a woman in for a routine service. Contrary to my suspicions, I was 100% wrong. I should have listened to the guys at aamco because I was just in an accident and the reason was because I could not brake in time to avoid the collision. I really wish if I would have listened and not had been on the defensive about my car and the repair work needed. I really feel like this whole incident could have been avoided .. Thank you aamco for trying to look out or me. To bad I was sceptical of repair men, it could have saved me a big headache."
"Went in, quoted $1870 for a trans rebuild. Wasn't told the truth that they're typically $3300 for my model trans. Then it had a leak instantly after it was rebuilt, had to warranty that. After the leak was fixed, the car was out of alignment. I'm not talking a little, this was severe. Service manager gave me a hard time about getting it aligned, even though they ruined it.(dropping the subframe on FWD cars can put a car out of alignment). Their rebuilder clearly does not check the trans dip stick after he rebuilds, and also clearly doesn't test drive after he fixes something. The rebuilder also claimed that the wheel speed sensor was affecting the transmission, which it has nothing to do with. I'm not complaining about that, because they replaced the hub and fixed the wire for free, which was nice. But only after they realized they messed up. They tried selling me on the fact that the wheel speed sensor was bad, and that it was telling the transmission the wrong things, which is a lie. So I can't say if it was an honest mistake on their end, or they were trying to pull one over on me. They'll always quote you on the best case scenario; not the honest scenario, like Joe H said. Honesty is key in the repair industry; obviously not a priority with these people. I was very patient with them, too. Did my best to remain professional despite the lack of honesty with them."
"We had our transmission rebuilt, the guys were super informative and helpful. they kept us updated on the process and was very professional. I highly..."
